New Funkeys Multiplayer Starter with Sprocket
There's a new version on the Dream State starter on ebay with 5 Dream State Funkeys included called the Multiplayer Starter. The first four (that most of us already have) and Sprocket. Would have been nice to see at least a couple of the new Multiplayer Funkeys in it, but either way I'll be waiting for the singles. It's only being offered by one seller so far and they currently have 5 of them listed. Update: More sellers have them now, so I've changed the link accordingly... Dream State 4-Packs Discovered
Last night at Toys R Us, I stumbled by a Dream State 4-Pack that I didn't even know existed. Of course they were all the common versions of each figure; Waggs, Vlurp, Ptep, and Drift. Heh, wouldn't THAT be a find to get a 4-Pack of all Rares or Very Rares. So for those who don't have any of them yet, this could be a great way to jump in to Dream State. It was $22.99 at TRU which isn't a great price for four singles, but at the ridiculous TRU exchange rate of $7.99 per single Funkey, it's a relative savings. Dream State Singles, Chat Packs, and Funkeys Speakers!
I finally found some of the new stuff myself this weekend! On Friday, I scored a pair of the Funkey Speakers that look like Scratch. I also saw the Lotus flash drive, but decided to wait on that until later. I'll be hooking them up at work tomorrow to see how they sound. I doubt they'll sound all that fantastic, but that's not the point of these babies and I don't exactly crank up the music at the office... :)  Also, I found the four chat funkeys and well as two Dream State singles, Vlurp and Rare Ptep. Here's a shot of my Dream State Funkeys so far...  They are finally getting a little easier to find. I've seen posts about them now showing at Target, Walmart, Meijers, and K-Mart... Dream State Games Named for Wave 1
One last little piece of info I forgot to add to the last few Dream State updates is the name of the four new games for Wave 1... Dream State Starter Set & Wave 1 Line-up
 Before we release the rarity colors of the other Wave 1 Funkeys, we thought we'd give some general information. As you can see in the image above, the packaging is a light purple color instead of the green mock-ups that were on display at the New York Toy Fair. You'll also note that the UB hub that comes with the Dream State starter has a new design to it. Some of you have already noticed this new UB being shown on the home page of the official site. Although some have stated that it looks a bit "girly", I personally like the new look a lot. So what's going to be available in Wave 1 you ask? Here's the breakdown: * Starter Set including 1 new UB hub, 1 Common Drift, and 1 Common Bones. * All four Chat Funkeys including Holler, Rewind, Rom, and Gabby. * The following normal Funkeys in the regular three rarity color variations: Ptep, Vlurp, Drift, and Wags. There will be no Multi-Player Funkeys in Wave 1. One additional thing to note on the new starter packaging is the phrase "includes quest feature". We've not been given any information regarding this new feature, so we'll all have to wait and see... Dream State Updates Start Now!
 Well, after a dry spell in new information here following the big release of the Speed racer Series earlier this year, we finally have some great new information to start sharing. In the following week or so, you should see daily updates regarding Dream State and a few other things. This first update image above reveals the new logo for DreamState which is cool in itself, but also shows us our first full set of Common, Rare, and Very Rare from one of the Dream State Funkeys, Ptep! They are in order left to right, the white Ptep is common, the tan Ptep is rare, and the grey Ptep with the black eye is very rare. Some of us speculated from earlier released images that the eye color would be the only thing differentiating the rarities of Ptep because we saw a red-eyed image as well as a green-eyed version in the image seen here...  Those were obviously just still "work in progress" images. There was similar speculation regarding the eye color of the Wags rarities, but that I can say was incorrect as well, but more on Wags later... :) Are you getting excited?
