Third wave now showing up - Flurry, Nibble, Sol, and Webley

It seems strange that they would already be releasing the third wave considering that the second wave hasn't even close to saturated the US market yet, but they have! I had gotten a few unconfirmed reports from people that these new figures were showing up, but now I'm seeing them on eBay. The third wave has a new look to the packaging and features Funkiki Island. The following images are from eBay, you can link through to the auctions for these characters:

Sol:
Sol

Flurry:

Webley:
Webley

Nibble:
Nibble

So for the record...

Wave One: Boggle, Bones, Deuce, Lotus, Scratch, Twinx, Vroom, and Xener

Wave Two: Fallout, Glub, Sprout, Stitch, Tiki, and Wasabi

Wave Three (confirmed so far): Flurry, Nibble, Sol, and Webley

Others known to be coming in January 2008: The Speed Racer SeriesNew Speed Racer Funkeys with a new hub and 8 new Funkeys.

Man, I'm behind in getting these! Stupid slow Mid-West store chains... :)

You aren't behind. There are some of the first characters they didn't start selling in Virginia until after Christmas. I had to have my friend in Texas buy a whole bunch for me. Others I've only seen on ebay. Then I came across this site and it has a list of all these new funkeys. I searched on line all day yesterday and the only sites I could find the ones you were talking about were in the UK. However they were all out of stock and The speed racer one was only available on pre order. It's not suppose to be available until Jan 15th 08. No telling when it will show up where I live.
Good luck in finding the ones you are looking for.

Oh, I don't consider not having this new third wave "being behind", but I've yet to see a single Wave 2 figure in this area yet. I've refrained from buying any online in hopes that they'll show up soon but my kids are getting antsy to start playing the new games and going new places. With Wave 3 now showing up places and the Speed Racer series coming next month, I'd certainly hope to see the Wave 2 figures soon! :)

Thanks for commenting...

My son and I found a few of the 3rd wave on Saturday up in Appleton, Wisconsin. When we got home we were not able to play them on our system. We are still trying to figure out how to get them to work....We were very happy to find them, and very shocked. We did not expect to see them especially since we do not have all of the second wave yet.

My kids and I are confirmed "Funkey Junkies" we just can't get enough. We too were shocked when I went in a Michigan Target store and found Flurry, Sol and Nibble today. We have been looking for Fallout, Tikki and Glub and have had no luck other than eBay. We are trying to be patient and hope that they get to our stores soon. Wal-mart and Target have been our best stores to find all the others.

We need some help with some of the games. Where can we go for helfull hints and tricks??

unfortunately the only way to really get an edge on the games is to have a very rare. the very rare will elevate your point for the games and get you the trophies faster. there are no real short cuts. It is good to see that there are more funkey junkies and i honest think that there is so much much more to come cause there are so many other spaces for portals to come online. I just wish that you could interact with other funkey people and talk to them.

We just started to explore Funkiki Island and we can only get through half the island. We keep running into dead ends, lava, caves and water. Any idea how to see the entire island???

How do you get the shiny orbs??

What do you do with all the coconuts??

Those dirty little cooties are driving us crazy. But, we really love the new maps.

I think that the deisgners are making the game harder. I got all the throphies for the original 14 funkies in 1 week and 3 gems so they are making it alot more interesting doing more updates. I have yet to recieve my new wave 4 funkies in the mail from ebay as of yet i am hoping that I get them soon. I have to start filling up that thophie rack now with the update it is looking a bit empty. I think that the coodies are just something to slow down how fast you complete things.
