The U.B.Funkeys Daydream Oasis Version 3.1 Update is Now Available
Signed on just a bit ago and downloaded the 3.1 update for Daydream Oasis. It was another big update, so if you don't have a good connection be prepared to wait a while. I'll look around and post more about it later...

Hello, I have recently bought a a dream state stater kit and bought a ptep also but i haven't gotten any updates for dream state at all.I cannot use my drift or ptep. it doesn't seem like i've pulled any updates. do you know how to fix this problem?
I had that problem too. I installed the dream state starter kit software in a new computer and would never receive updates and couldn't use ptep. I happened to have the old original kit and I decided to install the old software instead. It worked! I don't know why the new software didn't work, but I'm going to keep using the old one instead.
does anybody know how to force an update?
there's a communicatoin error on mine but it shouldn't take long to fix.
It's me again, the one from the first comment. I did a little searching online and found that you need to disable firwall. I haven't tried it yet but will later.
Oh, and Funkster. Mine has had the communication error too. I've had it ever since I got my dream state. I think it's a firewall problem with that too. I come back later to see if it worked.
nevermind it worked. guess what! now there is a henchman place!
OOOH!! they might be selling the henchman fiugers soon where auigewan is that he posted in the photo gallery! COOL! where at?plus, you have to open ubfunkeys THEN netscape connect(or whatever YOUR connection is. hoply NOT the free version of juno :( :( :( if you are i feel very sorry for you.)

I've had my fire wall down for a whole day, and still when I log into my account there's no update. PLEASE HELP ME!
I really need help whenever i log in to ubfunkeys i doesnt show the thing that says DOWNLOAD DREAM STATE.I really want dream state but it never shows up plz help me
Does anyone even read the comments to this article anymore? I mean other than putting down the firewall can someone give me and anonymous (comment #12) some advice to getting the update? PLEASE help I'm desprite!
P.S. My password for frogboy 96 won't work so I'll be using the name chris from now on.
I contacted Mattel about it and they gave the following four reasons that someone would not be getting prompted for an update...
1) You already have the most recent files on your system. If you press CTRL+SHIFT+V you can access the version number.
The latest is: (as of Aug 28,2008)
build: 2008_08_12_346
exe 147
guide.rdf 3.1.20
2) You have auto update turned off.
3) Your firewall is preventing you from accessing the update.
4) You are not connected to the internet.
I do know of one other and that's is that many people using Windows XP Home or Vista need to log in to their computer as "administrator" and run the Funkeys game in order to get the updates.

After I press CTRL+SHIFT+V then what? Also do you mean that I have the "check for updates" thing on the ub funkeys options in the main menu off, because that's on? I have the firewall off, i'm connected to the internet, and I'm running as administrater. please answer
If you've done all those things, I'm stumped at this point as to why you wouldn't be getting the update. Sorry... Anyone else?
You know I'll just wait untill I get a dyer, lucky, tank, or berger because it's probably not that helpful having the update if I don't even have a funkey for daydream oasis. Though I really appreciate the help, thanks.
Forget what I said before, I tried going to "run as administrator" again and I got the update!!! Thanks augiewan for the help.
